Refund & Cancellation Policy
Read the Social Walls Refund Policy to learn how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the GDPR.
At Social Walls, we aim to provide reliable social media display solutions for events, digital signage, and other display environments. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the refund and cancellation terms applicable to our different products and services.
Our refund terms may vary depending on whether you are using Social Walls for an event or as an ongoing digital signage solution.
1. Event Plans
Event plans are designed for specific events and are generally purchased for a defined event duration.
No Refunds
Payments made for an event plan are non-refundable in all circumstances, including:
- Cancellation or postponement of the event.
- Change in event plans or requirements after purchase.
- Non-use of the service.
- Change of event date.
- Failure to use the service during the purchased event period.
- Purchase of the wrong plan or package.
Once an event plan has been purchased, the payment will not ordinarily be refunded.
Exception for Failure to Deliver Agreed Functionality
In exceptional circumstances, Social Walls may consider a refund if we fail to deliver functionality or a specific requirement that was expressly agreed upon as part of the purchased service.
Any such request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The issue must be attributable to Social Walls and must materially affect the delivery or intended use of the service.
Before considering a refund, our team may first attempt to resolve the issue or provide an alternative solution that reasonably meets the agreed requirement.
A refund under this exception is not automatic or guaranteed and will be subject to verification by our team.
Event Postponement
If your event is postponed, you may contact our support or customer success team to discuss whether the event plan can be rescheduled to a new date.
Rescheduling is subject to technical feasibility, availability, and the terms of the applicable plan. Postponement of an event does not automatically qualify you for a refund.
2. Digital Signage Plans
Digital signage plans operate on a subscription model and may be offered on a monthly or annual billing cycle.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available only for eligible first-time subscriptions and must be requested within the applicable refund window from the purchase date.
The refund window is:
- Annual Plans: Refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of purchase.
- Monthly Plans: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
Once the applicable refund window has passed, the subscription will no longer be eligible for a refund for the current billing period.
Subscription Plans
Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are two different processes.
To avoid an upcoming renewal charge, cancellation requests must be submitted in advance:
- Annual Plans: At least 30 days before the renewal date.
- Monthly Plans: At least 15 days before the renewal date.
If a cancellation request is received after the applicable notice period, the subscription may remain active until the end of the next billing cycle, and charges processed due to late cancellation may not be refundable.
Example
If your monthly subscription is scheduled to renew on March 1, 2026, you should submit your cancellation request by February 14, 2026 to avoid the upcoming renewal charge.
Cancellation
You may cancel your digital signage subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.
Cancellation will stop the subscription from automatically renewing for the next billing period. Your existing subscription will generally remain active until the end of the current paid billing period, unless otherwise stated for your specific plan.
No Refund for the Current Billing Period
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
Any payment already made for the current subscription period is generally non-refundable, even if you stop using the service before the end of that period.
Renewal Charges
To avoid being charged for a subsequent billing period, you must cancel your subscription before the next renewal date.
Once a renewal payment has been successfully processed, the payment will generally be non-refundable.
Refund Processing Fee
For approved refunds requested within the applicable refund window, a processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
The applicable processing fee may vary depending on the payment gateway used for the transaction.
Currently:
- Standard payment processing: A 5.5-7% processing fee* will be deducted from the transaction value. The applicable processing fee depends on the charges deducted by the payment gateway.
The processing fee is non-refundable because it is charged by the payment/payment gateway provider for processing the original transaction.
Refunds for Technical or Service Issues
If you experience a significant technical issue that prevents you from using an essential functionality included in your purchased plan, please contact our support team.
Our team will first investigate the issue and make reasonable efforts to resolve it.
A refund may be considered only when:
- The issue has been verified to be caused by Social Walls.
- The affected functionality is included in the purchased plan or was specifically agreed upon.
- The issue materially prevents you from using the service.
- Our team is unable to resolve the issue or provide a reasonable alternative.
Minor bugs, temporary interruptions, third-party platform limitations, or issues caused by factors outside Social Walls' reasonable control may not qualify for a refund.
Third-Party Platforms and Integrations
Social Walls may rely on third-party social media platforms, APIs, networks, payment providers or other external services to provide certain functionality.
Changes, restrictions, outages, API limitations, content removals, or other issues caused by third-party platforms do not automatically qualify for a refund.
Where possible, our team will work to identify an alternative solution or restore the affected functionality.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe your purchase qualifies for a refund under this policy, contact our support or customer success team with:
- Your registered account email address.
- Order or transaction details.
- The plan or service purchased.
- Details of the issue or requirement that was not delivered.
- Any relevant screenshots, error messages, or supporting information.
Contact us through any of the approved channels:
- Email: billing@taggbox.com / support@taggbox.com
- Account Dashboard: If the cancellation option is available in your account.
All refund requests are subject to review and verification.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed through the original payment method used for the transaction.
Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, payment provider or payment gateway.
Any applicable payment processing or transaction fees may be deducted from the refund amount.
Access After Refund Approval
Once a refund has been approved:
- Your access to paid features may be revoked immediately.
- Your subscription will no longer remain active for the refunded billing period.
- You may continue to access any features or services that are available under your applicable free plan, if any.
Exceptions
Social Walls may, at its discretion, consider exceptional circumstances that are not specifically covered by this policy.
Any exception will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and does not create an obligation to provide a refund in similar circumstances in the future.
