Introduction To Oxfam's Noble Initiative
Oxfam is a charitable organization working tirelessly to eradicate global poverty through various noble means. One of Oxfam's most incredible initiatives is âSecond-Hand Style,â which is for charity. The initiative first started 75 years ago and has been active since.
In 2023, the organization appeared at the renowned fashion saga â London Fashion Week and decided to donate its profits from the fashion event to the relief fundraiser for Turkey and Syria amidst the disastrous earthquakes.
Client's Vision Is To Boost Engagement And Create Awareness
The organization aimed to boost engagement throughout the event and create awareness among the audience about its charitable initiative. It also wanted to boost audience involvement by promoting its eventâs designated hashtags, #FashionFightingPoverty23 and #FoundInOxfam.
Moreover, the organization wanted to use content collected from the hashtags and display it compellingly on digital screens during the fashion event. They wanted a way to upload content without using social media, and Social Walls was the perfect solution for them.
As said by Oxfam,
We were looking for a platform that offered both social aggregation and a studio for non-social media content as well as a feature to display the content in an organized and attractive manner.
